Plans — start directly with a 7-day Wraptor Shop trial
Who it's for
Plans is for the owner or manager who chooses the shop's subscription and manages billing. Day-to-day staff do not manage the subscription. Starting a trial, subscribing, changing plans, opening the billing portal, and buying credit packs are limited to the shop owner and to Managers who hold the Billing permission.
Where it fits
A new eligible Wraptor account passes through /select-plan and automatically starts a seven-day Wraptor Shop trial. The workspace opens without showing the plan picker. Shop is $199/month only if the owner later chooses to subscribe. No card or demo is required, and there is no automatic charge. Directory workspace eligibility is separate from this software trial.
Wraptor Shop tools and capacity are available during the trial, with the one-time metered allowances below. At the saved end date, workspace access pauses until the shop subscribes. Existing jobs, customers, quotes, and files stay saved.
Your Directory listing is free forever, no card. The leads it sends arrive by email either way: a shop without a plan still receives each new lead in full — contact details included — with a link to start the trial. Claiming a listing is free; the app is the trial.
Paid plans set the shop's limits for seats, locations, storage, monthly AI credits, professional vectorizations, and WrapMail mailboxes.
Current plans
Three plans are for sale. Each starts with the same 7-day free trial.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Seats | Included locations | WrapMail | Storage | AI credits/month | Vectorizations/month |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wraptor Starter | $99 | $990 | 2 | 1 | 1 shared mailbox | 25 GB | 60 | 10 |
| Wraptor Shop | $199 | $1,990 | Unlimited | 1 (+$99/mo each) | Up to 3 mailboxes | 200 GB | 500 | 40 |
| Wraptor Fleet | $299 | $2,990 | Unlimited | 1 (+$99/mo each) | Up to 5 mailboxes | 500 GB | 1,000 | 100 |
Annual billing is priced at ten months of the monthly rate; the plan picker shows it as 2 mo free. Starter, Shop, and Fleet are the complete public paid catalog; unreleased and historical catalog variants are not selectable. There is no separate multi-location plan — extra locations are a paid add-on on Shop and Fleet.
The catalog lives in src/lib/plans.ts (PLAN_LIMITS, PUBLIC_PLAN_NAMES).
What the trial and every plan include
- Every section of the app: the jobs board, quotes, invoices, customers and vehicles, scheduling, the ops dashboard, proofing, inventory, files, the handbook, team chat, reports, settings, and WrapStudio — with no job, quote, or invoice caps.
- A claimed listing on the consumer directory (branded FindAWrap) and the leads it sends you, with the customer's contact details.
- Customer email from the app: quote and invoice sends, proof sends, quote and invoice reminders, milestone updates, receipts and approval confirmations. Until you set up a WrapMail mailbox of your own they send from a Wraptor no-reply address under your shop's name, with replies pointed at your shop's contact address.
- A one-time trial allowance for metered tools: 15 AI credits, 3 professional vectorizations, and 3 file conversions. It never refills and cannot be topped up with a pack; the plan's monthly allowance begins with paid membership. In the app this allowance is labeled Trial AI credits (for example Trial credits used 3 / 15), and the AI Credits card in Settings counts it under This month.
- Customer-facing pages (quote, pay, tracking, and email preferences) without the Powered by Wraptor line — it is hidden during the trial and on every plan. The booking page, proof review, e-sign, warranty certificate and shared-file pages carry the line on every plan.
What Starter includes
Starter is the complete paid workflow for a small shop at one location: two seats, unlimited jobs, quotes, and invoices, WrapMail with one shared mailbox, the hosted shop website, payroll, newsletters (2 per month to up to 2,500 contacts), 25 GB of storage, 60 monthly AI credits, 10 professional vectorizations, and 25 file conversions per month. Starter does not include WrapForce, white-label Magic Wrap, or API access. Starter is not metered: it stays at two seats and one location, and a shop that outgrows it moves to Shop.
What Shop adds
Shop is for a crew. It adds:
- Unlimited seats.
- One included location, with additional locations as a metered add-on.
- Up to three included WrapMail mailboxes, with additional mailboxes at $49/month or $490/year each.
- 200 GB of storage, 500 monthly AI credits, 40 professional vectorizations, and 100 file conversions per month.
- Newsletters: 8 per month to up to 20,000 contacts.
- WrapForce, the private design and installer network.
- API access with API keys and signed outbound webhooks.
- The Shop-class tools: the aggregated customer portal (balances, approvals, and warranties on one customer link), the week Capacity planner, cost-drift alerts, and roll-level inventory.
What Fleet adds
Fleet is for multi-bay, multi-crew operations. On top of everything in Shop it adds:
- 500 GB of storage, 1,000 monthly AI credits, 100 professional vectorizations, and 300 file conversions per month.
- Up to five included WrapMail mailboxes (additional mailboxes at $49/month each).
- Newsletters: 20 per month to up to 50,000 contacts.
- White-label Magic Wrap for the shop's hosted site or external website. White-label Magic Wrap is shop-sponsored: each customer run spends the shop's credits and sends the lead only to that shop.
- Concierge migration and priority support.
Locations work the same on Shop and Fleet: one included, $99/month each after that.
Trial, paid membership, and cancellation
The lifecycle is:
- Sign up for Wraptor. Existing free FindAWrap owners keep their directory workspace unless they choose to try the software.
- Enter the workspace. Eligible new shops automatically receive the recommended Wraptor Shop trial; no plan choice or payment form appears.
- The server saves one fixed seven-day window. Retrying or opening two tabs resumes the same trial. No Stripe checkout is involved.
- Try Wraptor Shop for 7 days. No automatic charge.
- Choose a plan to continue. Checkout clearly shows the price and billing cycle. Subscribing starts paid membership and billing; it does not grant another trial. If you do nothing, the no-card trial ends without a charge.
- No cancellation is needed for a no-card trial. Existing card-backed trials still renew under their accepted terms unless canceled through Billing.
There is one trial per shop, ever. The first successful Start saves the trial-used marker. Repeated clicks and retries resume the same deadline. Changing plans or letting the trial expire cannot restart it. An abandoned card checkout from before this release does not prevent an otherwise unused shop from starting a no-card trial.
During a live trial, metered tools use the lifetime trial allowance (15 AI credits, 3 vectorizations, 3 conversions); purchased balances and monthly paid allowances remain separate. Packs, WrapForce, API access and a hosted WrapMail address require paid membership; during the trial, connect the email you already use instead. A persistent top banner shows days and hours, then hours/minutes/seconds in the final day. The deadline comes from the saved server record; expiry is enforced on the server even if the page remains open. Choose a plan opens checkout selection; staff see that the owner manages billing. Existing card-backed trials link to Manage plan and retain their billing terms.
Screens & navigation
Plans live in two places:
- Trial entry and paid plans (
/select-plan): eligible new shops go straight into a Shop trial. Existing/expired trials and paid subscriptions retain plan selection, explicit checkout, and upgrade/portal controls. A failed trial start offers Retry and Refresh; it never silently opens a payment form. - Settings → Accounting & Billing → Subscription shows, top to bottom: the current plan (for example Wraptor Starter Plan, Monthly Billing — Active) with the price; the AI Credits and Vectorizations cards with their Buy more packs; a Usage block with meters for Team Members, Locations, Storage, and AI Credits; the credit ledger of every spend, refund and grant; and the plan button at the bottom. On a paid subscription that button is Manage Subscription (Change plan, update payment method, view invoices, or cancel) and it opens Stripe's secure billing portal. While trialing it is Activate membership instead, with Activating ends the trial early and starts your paid membership. underneath. Under those controls sits a quiet Cancel plan… (Cancel trial… while trialing) link. It opens a confirm dialog — access continues to the end of the paid period (a trial ends on its last day and the card is never charged), nothing is deleted, and you can undo any time — with optional reason radios and a comment. Confirming shows a toast with the end date; the card's status line then reads Ends <date>, the trial's activate banner hides, and an ends-on banner with a one-click Keep my plan replaces the plan buttons. A receipt email names the same date and carries the undo link. The link never shows for a comped shop or a legacy no-card trial. The old link
?section=billingstill lands here.
The plan picker explains whether the shop can start a trial, needs to subscribe after expiry, or must fix a payment failure. New no-card trials enter the app immediately. A return from paid checkout waits for confirmed subscription state before presenting activation as complete.
Grandfathered plans (Founder Special, Wraptor Pro (original), Wraptor Founder) can appear as the current plan only for accounts that already carry them. They are not signup or upgrade choices. A shop granted the sales-led Founder deal sees one card on the plan picker — Your Founder deal is ready, Wraptor Starter, boosted — locked in for you., button Activate my Founder membership — not the public grid.
Step-by-step tasks
-
Start the 7-day free trial
- Sign up directly, or claim the shop's Directory listing. Either way you land on
/select-plan(a claim adds Your listing is claimed. above the cards). - Choose Starter, Shop, or Fleet and monthly or annual billing.
- Click Start 7-day trial. No payment details are required.
- The jobs board opens with the saved seven-day deadline. The trial ends without a charge; subscribe explicitly to continue afterward.
- In the first-run picker (Your trial workspace is live), choose what kind of work runs through the shop, then pick a first win — or I'd rather explore a sample job first to seed sample data.
- Use the First win card on the empty jobs board or dashboard: AI mockup, First job, and Add a customer. The X hides it for good on that device.
- Sign up directly, or claim the shop's Directory listing. Either way you land on
-
Activate a trial early
- Open Settings → Accounting & Billing → Subscription and click Activate membership. The Trial · Nd pill in the top bar is a shortcut to the same place.
- The plan picker opens on Unlock AI credits today. Pick the plan and confirm with Activate Wraptor Shop now (or the plan you chose). Billing starts today and the monthly AI credits begin once payment is confirmed.
-
Change plans
- Open
/select-plan— the Trial · Nd pill or any upgrade button in the app. - To move up, click the higher card and confirm Upgrade to Wraptor Shop (or Fleet). The prorated difference for the rest of the billing period is added to the next invoice. On a trial the plan switches right away and nothing is charged until the trial ends.
- To move down or change the billing cycle, open Settings → Accounting & Billing → Subscription → Manage Subscription and complete the change in Stripe's billing portal.
- Open
-
Buy more AI credits or vectorizations
- Open Settings → Accounting & Billing. The AI Credits card shows the credits available, This month: used / cap, and Purchased balance. The Vectorizations card works the same way.
- Under Buy more, pick a pack: 60 credits $15, 250 credits $50, or 800 credits $120; vectorizations come as 10 vectorizations $5 or 50 vectorizations $20.
- Complete the one-time Stripe Checkout. You return to Accounting & Billing with Payment received — Your pack is being added to the balance below — it can take a few seconds to appear. Backing out shows Checkout cancelled and Nothing was charged. Pick a pack below whenever you're ready.
- The same packs are offered where you run out: WrapStudio's vectorizer and the design intake wizard show Buy a vectorization pack; the credits pill (⚡ N) in the website editor's top bar opens a sheet with the same three credit packs; and WrapStudio's Magic Wrap wizard opens that sheet by itself when a run is refused for credits. On a trial the sheet is the Trial AI credits sheet instead — one Activate membership button and the line Credit packs unlock with membership.
-
Change a card or download an invoice

Settings & permissions
Only the shop owner, or a Manager with the Billing permission, can start the paid-plan trial, subscribe, activate, change plans, open the billing portal, cancel or keep the plan, or buy packs. A Manager without that permission can open the plan picker but is refused at the button with Only the shop owner or a manager can manage billing. Every other role opening the plan picker sees Subscription Required — Contact your shop administrator to set up billing before you can access the app.
Credit packs can be bought only by a shop on an active paid subscription. Trials and past-due shops see the pack buttons disabled with Credit top-ups require an active paid plan. (or Vectorization top-ups require an active paid plan.).
How credits are spent: the monthly allowance is used first, then the purchased balance. Purchased balances never expire and are protected across trial and activation. The monthly counters for AI credits, vectorizations, and file conversions reset together on one rolling 30-day cycle that starts with the paid membership.
If payment fails, Wraptor shows Payment failed. Please update your payment method within N days. with an Update Payment button, and keeps the shop working during that grace period. When the grace period lapses the account is read-only (Your account is in read-only mode. Update your payment method to continue.). The plan picker frames it as Your payment failed with an Update payment method button; fixing the card in the portal restores paid access without a new subscription.
Cancellation does not delete the workspace. When paid or trial access ends, the account keeps its records, files, mailbox history, customers, jobs, quotes, and invoices, and the app pauses on the plan picker until the shop subscribes again; canceling does not grant another trial.
Tips & common pitfalls
- New trials require no card and do not renew automatically. Existing card-backed trial terms are unchanged.
- Wraptor Shop tools are available during the trial. Plan capacity and lifetime metered allowances apply.
- There is one trial per shop. Switching plans or canceling does not reset or extend it.
- The trial's AI credits are a one-time allowance, not a monthly one. The 15 credits and 3 vectorizations never refill, and packs cannot be bought on a trial. Paid membership starts the monthly allowance.
- A trial is not a paid plan for packs, WrapForce, or the API. Those three wait for an active paid subscription.
- Starter is intentionally two seats and one location. Choose Shop before inviting a crew; Shop still includes one location, with extra locations billed separately.
- A mailbox is shared by the shop. Starter includes one, Shop up to three, and Fleet up to five.
- White-label Magic Wrap is a Fleet feature. Shop includes WrapForce and the API, not white-label; a grandfathered Wraptor Pro (original) plan keeps it.
- Directory shoppers contact shops directly. Claiming a listing is free and creates the same no-plan account as a direct signup — it lands on the plan picker, and the leads keep arriving by email either way. Wraptor does not resell the lead.
- AI credits reset with the paid billing cycle. Purchased packs are separate from the monthly allowance and never expire.
- Your listing and its leads stay free. Without a plan you still get every lead in full by email, with a link to try the software; the inbox, quoting, photos, and follow-ups are what the trial opens.
- Legacy trials without a card work differently. A trial that predates the card-backed model and never attached a card keeps its workspace with no countdown, but stays locked out of AI credits, WrapMail, the hosted site, and the API until it subscribes — and because emailing a quote, invoice or proof from inside Wraptor rides the WrapMail entitlement, those shops see "Customer email requires a paid plan or live trial" on the Send sheet and share by Copy link instead. Automatic customer messages (reminders, receipts, confirmations) still go out for them.
