How much should a shop charge for truck lettering?

In 2026 one California shop's published prices run $150-$200 for DOT numbers only, $150-$250 for basic lettering on one door, $250-$400 for full door lettering on one side, $400-$700 for both doors with a logo, and $500-$1,200 for a full truck lettering package. Printed and laminated graphics run about $250-$600 per side versus $150-$400 for cut vinyl. Most of the cost is design, weeding, and install time, so check each price against your own hours; for a fleet, charge design and setup once and price each repeat vehicle from a per-unit recipe.
