How much should a tint shop charge to tint a sedan?

In 2026 most tint shops charge roughly $150-$400 for dyed film, $250-$650 for carbon, and $400-$900 or more for ceramic on a sedan, with SUVs and trucks typically 25-40% higher and luxury or complex glass 30-50% higher. Price old-tint removal ($100-$200), windshield strips ($50-$100), and full windshields ($150-$250 where legal) as separate add-ons, and cost one real job first: film, labor, overhead, supplies, insurance, and waste should leave at least a 30% gross margin.
