The best wrap shop software in 2026, ranked honestly

Ten vehicle-wrap shop tools ranked on what they actually model — vehicle data, film math, proofing, packages — with real 2026 prices, real doors, and who should not pick Wraptor.

Disclosure: Wraptor makes Wraptor. We rank ourselves first for the shops we were built for and say plainly who should pick something else.

Search "best wrap shop software" and the first thing you hit is a listicle written by a pressure-washing CRM that ranks itself first and then recommends lawn-care dispatch tools for wrapping a Sprinter. None of the tools on that list know what a Sprinter is. This page is the wrap shop's version: every tool a shop actually shortlists, ranked on whether it models the wrap workflow, with the price and the door you will really find when you click through.

Some framing before the table. A wrap shop's scheduling problem includes the handoff: a changed appointment must reach the manager coordinating the floor. A wrap job also carries a vehicle, a measured surface, a roll of film with a width and a waste factor, an artwork proof the customer must approve, a print run, an install slot, and a warranty, and almost every tool sold to wrap shops models two of those seven. We built Wraptor to model all seven, and we rank ourselves first for the shops we were built for. We also say, below, exactly who should pick something else.

The yardstick

What a wrap shop actually needs from software

A vehicle data model

Year, make, model, and the measured panel square footage behind them. Wraptor quotes from 2,232 measured vehicles; a wrap tool without that number makes you carry the tape measure and the spreadsheet.

Film math, not line items

Roll width, waste factor, laminate, and labor per panel — computed from the vehicle, not typed into a generic estimate. This is the difference between a quote in ninety seconds and a quote after lunch.

Packages a customer can approve

Good, better, best: a full wrap or a partial, a five-window tint or a windshield strip, a front-end PPF kit or a full body. The customer taps one, the deposit invoice follows, the job opens.

Stages that match the bay

Lead, quote, design, proof, print, install, QC, done. Home-service tools have a dispatch board; mechanical-repair tools have a repair order. Neither has a proof step, and both put the print run somewhere in the notes.

Flat pricing

Hiring an installer should not raise the software bill. Wraptor Starter is $99/mo, Wraptor Shop is $199/mo with unlimited seats — the per-seat tools on this list charge $20–$100 for every extra login.

Leads, not just records

A shop tool that only stores customers is half a tool. Wraptor routes inbound leads from the FindAWrap directory to member shops with no per-lead fee; nothing else on this list brings a customer to your door.

#1

Wraptor

$99 – $299/mo flat, no per-seat fees · Open pricing, a 7-day no-card trial, optional demo

Wraptor is the operating system for a wrap, tint, or PPF shop — quoting, jobs, proofing, materials, invoicing, the customer tracker, and the leads in one place. The quote starts from the vehicle: pick a year, make, and model and the measured panel square footage is already there for 2,232 vehicles, so film, laminate, waste, and labor price themselves off your own Standards. Good/Better/Best packages go out on one link; the customer taps one, signs, and the deposit invoice follows in the same moment.

From there the job moves through stages that match the bay — design, proof, print, install, QC — with a panel-by-panel proofing flow the customer approves from their phone, roll-level vinyl inventory that deducts per job, printable job packets for the installer, per-stage time tracking, and a no-login tracker page that answers "is my car done yet?" before anyone calls. Fleet accounts run one parent job with a child job per vehicle. Warranty records and certificates stay with the vehicle history.

Pricing is flat: Wraptor Starter at $99/mo for a small shop, Wraptor Shop at $199/mo with unlimited seats, Wraptor Fleet at $299/mo with the white-label lead generator. Card processing fees pass through at cost, there is no AI credit meter on the core workflow, and cancel is one click in Billing. Start the 7-day no-card trial by choosing a plan; a demo is optional, no card required, no automatic charge.

Where we are honest about ourselves: Wraptor launched in 2025 and has a smaller community than shopVOX; there is no parts catalog or labor guide, because a wrap shop does not need one; and our seven-day trial is shorter than some rivals offer. If you want to poke around alone for 30 days, several tools below let you.

Keep each department's stages on its own board and review them together on the combined jobs view. One customer job owns the work and billing. Schedule installs before the installation stage, switch between install and due dates, and use bays only if your shop has them. Today brings owners, next actions, blockers, follow-ups, and changes needing review to the floor manager. Staff review appointment-message drafts before sending; mobile photo selection keeps reference and inspection images with the job.

Best for: Wrap, tint, and PPF shops from one bay to multi-location

#2

shopVOX

$109/mo Express or $249/mo PRO; one full user included, additional full users $29/$49/mo · 14-day Express trial; PRO demo and paid onboarding

shopVOX is the most established management platform for sign, print, and apparel shops, and a lot of wrap shops run it because their business started as a sign shop. Quoting, job boards, proofing, purchase orders, and invoicing are all there and all mature; the activation flow (a three-step checklist, a pre-built product catalog) is the best in this list.

Vehicle-template measurement and estimating live in the paid smartWrap PRO add-on. Custom workflows and proofing are available, so the decision is about fit and configuration rather than their absence. Compare the subscription, additional full logins, onboarding, and the modules you need with the complete cost of running the same order in Wraptor.

Best for: Sign and print shops where wraps are a secondary service

#3

GarageTool

$100–$200/mo + $10/employee/mo · Self-serve trial

GarageTool is the one rival on this list that took vehicle measurement seriously: pick the vehicle, the wrap type, and the material, and the square footage and price fall out. For a shop whose pain is quoting, that alone is worth a look, and we say so on our own comparison page.

It stops at the estimate. Scheduling and invoicing exist but lack depth, there is no artwork proofing flow, no customer-facing job tracker, no roll inventory, and no AI. Most shops that pick GarageTool keep a second tool for everything after the quote.

Best for: Shops that mostly want a better estimator

#4

Tint Wiz

$150/mo · 30-day trial, no card, self-serve

Tint Wiz is a well-liked CRM for window tint shops with real depth on lead capture, quoting, scheduling, review requests, and follow-ups, and a rare asset: co-branded dealer platforms with Solar Gard and Hüper Optik. $150/mo flat with unlimited users is fair for a three-bay tint shop.

For a wrap shop it is a tint tool that tolerates wraps. There are no design-print-install stages, no proofing flow for custom artwork, no creative tools, and no customer job tracker. If tint is 70% of your revenue, read our tint roundup instead — the answer there is closer.

Best for: Tint shops that also wrap

#5

Urable

$70 – $183/mo · Self-serve trial, then a post-signup demo

Urable is a detailing-first scheduler and CRM that has grown into a decent PPF sales tool: 24/7 booking with deposits, a 3D Visualizer that previews manufacturer films on 15,000+ stock vehicles, photo and video inspections, and route optimization for mobile crews. Fullsteam bought it in 2025; Express is $70, Pro $110, Enterprise $183, all with unlimited users.

Wrap production is where it thins out. There is no quoting from vehicle square footage, no kanban with wrap stages, no proofing flow for uploaded artwork, and inventory is product counts rather than film rolls. It is the right budget pick for a detailer adding PPF, and we say so in the not-for section below.

#6

Work5

$99/mo (beta) · Beta, limited spots, demo-gated

Work5 is the one tool here written by someone who has actually laid film, and it shows on the shop floor: a TV job display, an employee time clock, photo measurements, a leads log. It is in beta with limited, demo-gated spots at $99/mo.

It is operations only. Invoicing is a tracking overview with no quote builder and no payment processing, there is no proofing or design tooling, no hosted website or booking page, and nothing that brings customers in. A shop on Work5 still runs QuickBooks and email for the money side.

Best for: Shop-floor operations only

#7

Shopmonkey

$239 – $499/mo + $20/user · 20-minute demo only, no trial

Shopmonkey is a strong mechanical-repair system: parts catalogs, labor guides, digital vehicle inspections, texting, and a support desk that answers the phone in seconds. If half your revenue is brakes and alignments, it belongs on your list.

For the wrap side it has nothing: no panel square footage, no film math, no artwork proofing, no design-print-install stages, no roll inventory. It is demo-only — the site's own meta description still promises a free trial that does not exist — and Trustpilot reviewers complain about a steep price increase after signing.

Best for: Mechanical repair shops that added a wrap bay

#8

Jobber

$49 – $499/mo + $29/user · 14-day trial on Grow, no card, self-serve

Jobber is the polished leader of the home-service CRMs — quoting, scheduling, dispatch, invoicing, a client hub, twenty free tools, and a real support team. QuoteIQ's listicle names it as wrap software; Jobber itself does not market to wrap shops at all.

It has no vehicle database, no panel square footage, no film math, no material inventory, and no artwork proofing, and every extra team member is $29/mo. A mobile wrap crew that quotes by eye and installs in driveways can run on it; a shop with a print room will feel the gaps within a month.

Best for: Mobile crews that quote on site

#9

Housecall Pro

$79/mo (1 user) – $329/mo (8 users) · 14-day trial, no card, self-serve

Housecall Pro is Jobber's closest rival: scheduling, dispatch, estimates, invoicing, a customer portal, and a marketing suite, with a 14-day no-card trial and a 30-day money-back window.

Seats are the lever — Basic is one user, and extra users cost $100/mo on Essentials and $75/mo on Max — and trial signups report persistent outbound sales calls after entering a phone number. There is no vehicle data model, no vinyl inventory, and no proofing; it appears on wrap-software lists because a CRM put it there.

Best for: Home-service companies

#10

QuoteIQ

$29.99 – $699/mo · 14-day trial, self-serve

QuoteIQ is a general contractor CRM born in pressure washing and now sold to 50+ trades — estimates and e-sign, InstaQuote self-quoting, scheduling and routing, invoicing, a business phone line, and since February 2026 an AI layer (Copilot, Autopilot, AI phone answering) metered by IQ Credits. It is cheap at the bottom: $29.99/mo for one user.

It is on this list because it put itself on every list. Its "top 8 softwares for vehicle wrapping businesses" page ranks QuoteIQ first and then names Jobber, Housecall Pro, and Workiz as wrap tools; the product has no wrap, tint, or PPF industry page and no vehicle data model — no year/make/model, no panel square footage, no film math. Card and ACH payouts carry QuoteIQ platform fees on top of Stripe's rate (the number is not published), seats are tiered so a five-person shop lands at $299/mo, the top tier was repriced twice in 2026, and app-store reviews cite crashes after updates and cancellation confusion. For a one-truck pressure washer it is a fine tool. It is not wrap shop software.

The honest part

Who should not pick Wraptor

A solo detailer adding PPF on a $30–70 budget

Pick: Urable (or QuoteIQ if you never touch film)

Wraptor starts at $99/mo. If you book one vehicle a day and never quote from square footage, Urable's $70 Express with the 3D Visualizer is the honest pick.

A mechanical shop where wraps are under 20% of revenue

Pick: Shopmonkey or Tekmetric

You need a parts catalog, a labor guide, and inspections more than you need film math. Run the repair side there and quote wraps with our free wrap calculator until the bay earns its own tool.

A sign shop that wraps a few vans a year

Pick: shopVOX

If complex fabrication and custom manufacturing drive the business, evaluate shopVOX's configuration against that work. Wraptor now handles everyday print products, tickets, costs, and reorders; compare the actual order instead of assuming every sign shop needs the same system.

A shop that needs a longer trial before deciding

Pick: Tint Wiz, Urable, or Sign OS

Our no-card trial lasts 7 days and needs no demo. Compare these alternatives if you need a longer evaluation period.

How we ranked

  • Every price and door on this page was checked against the vendor's own pricing page on September 9, 2026, and each rival's row reads from the same data as its /compare page — so a correction there corrects this page too. Where a vendor publishes no price (Workiz) we say so instead of guessing.
  • We ranked on one question: how much of the wrap, tint, or PPF workflow does the tool actually model? A vehicle database, panel square footage, film math, proofing, packages, and a customer-facing tracker score; a parts catalog or a dispatch map does not, however good it is for the trade it was built for.
  • We did not weight app-store ratings, YouTube subscriber counts, or paid press releases. We did read the one-star reviews for every tool, ours included.

Disclosure: Wraptor makes Wraptor. We rank ourselves first for the shops we were built for and say plainly who should pick something else.

Frequently asked questions

What software do most vehicle wrap shops use?

In our July 2026 analysis of 16,223 wrap, tint, and PPF listings, most shops still ran on a phone, a spreadsheet, and QuickBooks. Of the purpose-built tools, shopVOX has the largest installed base among sign shops that wrap, Tint Wiz among tint shops, and Wraptor is the only platform built around the vehicle for wrap, tint, and PPF shops together.

Is QuoteIQ good for wrap shops?

QuoteIQ is a capable home-service CRM for pressure washing, lawn care, and similar trades, and it is inexpensive for one user. It has no vehicle data model, no panel square footage, no film math, no wrap industry page, and its AI is metered by credits with an unpublished platform fee on payments. Its own vehicle-wrapping listicle recommends Jobber and Housecall Pro, neither of which measures a vehicle.

How much should wrap shop software cost?

Expect $99–$300/mo flat for a wrap-native platform. Per-seat tools look cheaper at the entry price and cost more by the third hire: shopVOX PRO with three full users is $347/mo before the wrap add-on, Housecall Pro Essentials with three extra users is about $489/mo. Wraptor Starter is $99/mo and Wraptor Shop is $199/mo with unlimited seats.

Is there free wrap shop software?

Not really, and the free tiers that existed in 2025 are mostly gone: QuoteIQ retired its free plan, Workiz pulled its Lite plan in July 2026, and Wraptor retired its Free tier in September 2026. What you can get is a no-card trial (Jobber, Housecall Pro, Tint Wiz, Urable, Sign OS) or, at Wraptor, a 7-day no-card trial with an optional demo. Spreadsheets are free and stop working around ten active jobs.

Does Wraptor lock me in?

No. Every plan has a one-click export of all your data as a ZIP (customers, vehicles, jobs, quotes, invoices, files), a one-click cancel in Billing that ends the plan at the period end, and an import hub that brings data in from any CSV or from another tool's export.

Can a mixed-service shop track print and sign orders too?

Yes. Print & signs has a reusable product catalog with quantity breaks and finishing options, production tickets from approved specs, optional inventory-linked material costs, and reorders that recheck current catalog rates. Separate department boards keep signs, wraps, and PPF organized without duplicating customer jobs or billing.
