Disclosure: Wraptor makes Wraptor. We rank ourselves first for the shops we were built for and say plainly who should pick something else.

A banner order needs dimensions, a substrate, finishing, quantity, an approved file, and a promised date. A garment run adds sizes and decoration choices. A fleet-graphics order adds vehicles and installation slots. Start a software comparison with those differences: the best fit is the tool that keeps your actual work clear from estimate to pickup.

This guide compares four options for independent print, sign, and graphics shops. We put Wraptor first for shops combining everyday print products with signs and vehicle work. Printavo is a stronger candidate when garment decoration is the center of the business; shopVOX and CoreBridge deserve a demonstration when you need a broader custom-manufacturing system. We make Wraptor, and this is our assessment of fit, not an independent lab ranking.

Bring a recent order to each demo. Ask the person showing the software to quote it, change the quantity, attach the approved art, hand it to production, move the promised date, and repeat it at today's prices. That reveals more than a long checklist of features. Compare the total for the people who need their own login, required add-ons, and onboarding, as well as the advertised starting price.

The yardstick

What a print shop actually needs from software

A catalog your counter team can use

Save your repeat products with the rates and finishing options you actually sell. Check square-foot, per-item, and linear-foot pricing against a banner, yard sign, and decal order. Suggested starting prices should be visibly marked so a new employee does not mistake them for your approved shop rates.

Quantity changes that stay understandable

Try a short run and a larger run of the same product. Ask which rate applies, whether finishing follows the correct unit, and what the customer sees. Wraptor applies the product's quantity break and can show the next quantities on supported itemized quotes and PDFs while approval is open; the editor flags a larger quantity that would cost less than the current order.

A useful production handoff

The floor needs the approved specs, the artwork revision, prepress decisions, checks, and sign-offs. A production ticket should travel with that order. Walk through a revision during the demo: staff need to see what changed and who has reviewed it, without searching personal messages or guessing which printed sheet is current.

Dates and departments that match the shop

A customer's due date and an installation appointment are different promises. Look at both. For mixed work, separate department stages should remain visible on one customer order. A shop that installs at a single location should not have to invent bays; a shop that uses bays should be able to assign them.

A repeat order without repeating every step

Reusing a prior order should preserve useful dimensions and quantities, recheck current rates, and reset production approval. A customer request to reorder still needs the shop to confirm the scope. Check this with an old order whose substrate price has changed, then look at the staff-only material-cost estimate.

Tool by tool

#1

Wraptor

$99 – $299/mo flat, no per-seat fees · Open pricing, a 7-day no-card trial, optional demo

Wraptor's Print & signs service quotes banners, yard signs, decals, posters, and business cards from a saved product catalog. Enter dimensions and quantity, choose finishing options, and use your own rates by square foot, item, or longest-side linear foot. Starter products carry suggested prices that the shop reviews. Quantity breaks apply to the order and can present larger-run options on supported customer quote layouts while approval is open.

Approved specs feed a print production ticket with artwork references, prepress notes, roll or tiling checks, production steps, and sign-offs. Link a substrate to inventory to estimate material cost and staff-only margin, then record print material consumption against the job. Reorder a completed print job into a fresh draft, with current catalog pricing checked and artwork sign-offs reset. Customer tracker and fleet-portal requests come back to the shop for confirmation.

Custom department boards let signs, wraps, and PPF keep their own stages while sharing a customer job and billing record. The combined jobs view brings those stages together. Schedule can show install dates or due dates in agenda, week, or month; bays and crews are optional. Today collects handoffs, blockers, follow-ups, and customers awaiting a reply. Each employee can choose their default jobs view.

Vehicle work stays in the same system, with 2,232 measured vehicles, proofing, film inventory, and customer tracking. A print/sign signup gets a sample banner order and print-focused setup guidance. Department boards are included on Wraptor Fleet. Start the 7-day trial by choosing a plan. No card required, no automatic charge; a demo is optional.

Best for: Print and sign shops that also do vehicle graphics

#2

shopVOX

$109/mo Express or $249/mo PRO; one full user included, additional full users $29/$49/mo · 14-day Express trial; PRO demo and paid onboarding

shopVOX publishes product estimating for banners, signs, vinyl, business cards, and apparel, plus custom workflows and board, list, and calendar views. Its smartWrap PRO add-on uses vehicle templates for measurement and quoting. That makes it a meaningful contender for a mixed graphics shop, not just a generic project manager.

Express includes one full user; additional full users are charged separately. PRO also has paid onboarding and optional modules. Ask the demo to reproduce your real product, handoff, and install workflow, then request the total for the access your staff need.

Best for: Broad sign, print, and custom-product operations

#3

CoreBridge

$129 – $899/mo + onboarding fee · Discovery call + onboarding fee, no trial listed

CoreBridge lists estimating, job boards, approvals, customer portals, and inventory across its plans. Starter has monthly estimate and order limits; higher tiers add features such as parallel workflows and multiple warehouses. There is a one-time onboarding fee.

Shortlist it when the operation needs a broader manufacturing system. In the demo, check which tier includes your required workflows, locations, inventory, and customer reorders, and ask for the setup scope alongside the subscription quote.

Best for: Custom manufacturing with more complex operational needs

#4

Printavo

$109 – $244/mo (Premium: contact us) · 7-day trial, no card, self-serve

Printavo publishes Lite and Standard pricing, with Premium priced by inquiry. It offers a seven-day trial without a card. Its workflow includes customizable order statuses, assigned tasks, customer approvals, and production tools for decorated products.

If most orders are shirts and embroidery, run that workflow through Printavo before adopting a tool centered on signs and vehicle graphics. If your work mixes banners and fleet installs, test those orders too and identify which details would need manual fields or a separate tool.

Best for: Screen printing, embroidery, and garment decoration

How we ranked

  • The three vendors' linked official pricing pages were checked on September 22, 2026. Published prices in the table come from the same records as our comparison pages. Prices, user access, and onboarding can change; confirm the complete quote with each vendor.
  • The ranking reflects our assessment of fit for print, sign, and vehicle-graphics shops. Wraptor capabilities are checked against the implemented product. We do not treat an unlisted competitor feature as proof it does not exist; confirm the workflow with that vendor.
  • Use the same order for every demonstration and include a revision, a reschedule, and a reorder. Ask who owns the next action after each change. Compare the cost and effort of that workflow for your team, rather than counting checkmarks.

Frequently asked questions

Does a print shop need a vehicle-based system?

Only if vehicle work is part of the business. Wraptor's Print & signs quotes and quick job capture do not require a vehicle. Vehicle records become useful when the same shop also sells fleet graphics, wraps, tint, or PPF.

Can Wraptor schedule work without install bays?

Yes. Schedule at the job's location and add a bay or crew only when useful. Install appointments stay independent of the promised due date and workflow stage, and staff can choose the schedule as their default jobs view.

How should we start a print-software evaluation?

Bring your price list, one repeat product, and one order that required a revision. Build the quote, approve the artwork, inspect the production ticket, change the schedule, and reorder it. In Wraptor, the Wraptor Shop trial starts when you open your workspace so you can continue with a product and workflow you recognize.
