How much should a shop charge for ceramic coating?

Shops that publish 2025-2026 prices charge roughly $300-$800 for an entry ceramic coating lasting 6-18 months, $800-$1,200 for a 2-3 year coating, $1,200-$1,700 for a 5-year coating, and $2,200 and up for 8-year or lifetime packages, with SUVs and trucks typically $50-$300 more than a sedan. Paint correction is the biggest variable: one detailer publishes $300-$700 for single-stage and $500-$1,200 for two-stage correction, so include a one-step polish in the base price and quote deeper work after inspection. The coating product is usually only 10-20% of the ticket.
