How much do sign shops charge for installation?

Sign shop owners commonly report about $90-$120 an hour for one installer on non-bucket work and $60-$75 an hour for a helper; bucket-truck work runs about $120-$165 an hour and boom or crane trucks $195-$350 an hour and up in 2026. Bill travel time, set a minimum (half-day minimums are common), and pass through permits, which commonly run $200-$2,000.
