How much do channel letters cost?

A standard front-lit storefront set of 10-15 letters, 18-24 inches tall on a raceway, sells for about $3,000-$8,000, with halo-lit sets around $4,000-$9,000 and combination front-and-halo sets $5,000-$12,000. Sign shops usually price by the letter-inch, a rate per inch of letter height times the number of letters: fabrication-only trade rates run roughly $12-$18 per letter-inch for front-lit and $16-$22 for halo-lit in 2026. Raceway, power supplies, the site survey, permits, the electrician, and the install crew and lift are added as separate lines, and a 50% deposit before design is common.
