How long after window tint can you roll down the windows?

Wait at least 48 hours, and 3 to 5 days in cold, damp, or humid weather. 3M says not to open or close the windows for at least 48 hours after installation, XPEL says about 1 to 5 days depending on the climate, and Madico says two to four days; thicker films can take longer. Rolling a window down early can drag the top edge of the film through the window seal and peel it. Haze and small water bubbles for up to about two weeks are normal, but bubbles still visible after three weeks should go back to the installer.
