Choosing Wrap Shop Software · reviewed Sep 30, 2026
What features should wrap shop software have?
Eight things matter for a wrap shop: (1) a vehicle database with measured square footage, so a quote starts from the vehicle; (2) film math — roll width, waste, laminate and labor; (3) Good/Better/Best options the customer approves online; (4) deposits and invoices the customer pays by card or bank transfer; (5) job stages that match the bay — design, proof, print, install, quality check; (6) online approval of custom artwork proofs; (7) vinyl roll inventory and install scheduling; and (8) a customer-facing job tracker and warranty records. Field-service and auto-repair tools usually cover the invoicing and scheduling but not the vehicle, the film or the proof. Check the pricing model too: with per-seat fees, every hire raises the software bill.
